Becca Volcano Goddess Eyeshadow Palette

This product was released last holiday 2018. It’s a limited edition release that also included some lip glosses. I have a few Becca products, the blushes are particularly good. But this is my first foray into their eyeshadows.

The packaging is gorgeous on this. A heavy rich feeling palette with a stunning agate stone design on the front. It has a large mirror inside. It’s striking.

Inside you get 12 eyeshadows in a variety of finishes that include matte, shimmer and the new glitter shades that every brand is adding. The weight of the shadows vary from .15 to .24 ounces.

Cloud matte cream

Volcanic Sand matte soft peach

Granite matte soft taupe

Gilded glitter gold

Diamond Dust glitter white

Haze shimmer taupey rose ⭐️

Red Rock shimmer rose brown ⭐️

Lava glitter bronze

Agate Ash shimmer soft taupe⭐️

Crater shimmer taupe⭐️

Hematite shimmer gunmetal ⭐️

Midnight Sapphire glitter sapphire

The shimmer shades are amazing. Richly pigmented and glide on easily. The formula on these are superior. The mattes are kinda boring but every palette needs a highlighter. The glitter shades are awful. They are crumbly, lack pigment and hard to apply. I have found they only work with a wet stiff taklon flat cream brush that you tap on the lid v swiping. They really are awful. But I just fell in love with the shimmer shades. But if you get this on sale, I don’t think the value per shadow is too bad. That’s 5 incredible shimmer shadows and three great matte neutrals. The four duds? Not so bad since 8 are great!!

The product originally retails for $46 and can be found at Ulta and Sephora and on the Becca website. But during the holiday season, it was on special at Ulta for half off. Also QVC carries it for less and includes one of the full size lipglosses. I even saw it at Marshalls for $20 and almost grabbed another! So shop around for this product and you may just find a fantastic deal.
