This has been my year for Concealer reviews! I think I’ve tried all the latest formulas out there plus some retired ones I have found on clearance.
Jouer launched in 2008 by Christina Zilber. Her mother was a model who inspired Zilber to create her own line Of Cosmetics from an editorial standpoint which focuses on makeup to complement a woman’s individual fashion sense and lifestyle.
The Essential High Coverage Doncealer is exactly that. Superior high coverage. The concealer has hyaluronic acids and resveratrol to creates soft matte finish that covers imperfections.
Let me just say it works. It’s very thick and pigmented. Comes in a tube with doe foot applicator. You just need a tiny dab. If you use too much, this gets caked so be careful. It’s similar to Tarte Shape Tape or Makeup Revolution But a little drier.
This retails for $22 and will last forever since you need so little. Really covers undereye circles and last all day, in fact, it’s fairly waterproof. But if you put on too much this will crease.
I got Creme Brulee which worked really well for my nc30 light olive complexion. I could probably go a little lighter too. I’ve included the charts here for everyone to see the colors. As you can see the 28 shades provide a match for everyone.
