Lorac Shine Bright Pro Eyeshadow Palette

Lorac has always been one of my favorite brands. High quality products with fun color collections. However, in the past few years Lorac has released some questionable collections. However being a fan, I took a chance on the new holiday palette for 2018.

A large palette with 20 eyeshadows. A combination of mattes and shimmers. Unfortunately the mattes in this palette are big duds. And with half being matte, that’s a lot of duds.

Ecru matte off white. Good base color⭐️

Haze matte dusty lilac

Lt Brown matte chocolate

Crepe matte soft peach that goes on more like white

Dusty Mauve matte lilac

Vanilla shimmery white. Good highlighter shade⭐️⭐️

Smoked Plum matte grey lilac

Mahogany matte brown with reddish undertones

Primrose matte lilac

Slate Blue matte dark purple

Nectar matte peach

Azure matte dark teal

Splendor shimmery bronze

Fizz shimmery taupe. Love⭐️⭐️

Cosmic shimmery purple⭐️

Gold Rush shimmery gold⭐️

Atlantis shimmery teal. Love⭐️⭐️

Spruce shimmery evergreen. Love⭐️⭐️

Royalty shimmery hot pink⭐️

Icicle shimmery silver⭐️

I’ve swiped the colors by each row. Starting from the top row. I added some stars to the shadows I thought were great quality shadows and then added an additional star from the colors I really loved. I had to swipe the mattes several times to show up.

As you can see, I really only saw 4 standout shadows that were must haves. And only 9 shadows that I thought were good shadows overall. I’m not sure why Lorac added 4 similar matte lilac shades. Those were just repetitive.

The brush was actually a little better quality than most brushes. Taklon double ended brush. You can definitely use it in a pinch but your own brushes are probably better.

This palette retails for $49. And it’s going back. I have too many better quality palettes. I’m sure this will be on a clearance rack next year. Maybe then I will purchase it. But not for $49.
