CLE Melting Lip Powder Review

I received this in a beauty box subscription. I think it’s Allure, but I’m not positive. But when researching this product for review, I noticed it sells at Neiman Marcus and Anthropologie. And costs $20.00. Wow. Much higher end product than I thought.

But I digress. What is this? This Melting Lip Powder is a matte lip and cheek tint. This is a long wearing matte product designed to be waterproof, smudge proof infused with vitamin A.

It’s quite unique in terms of application. It has a standard doe foot applicator that glides on. But then it feels kinda cool but not really wet. Then dries immediately. Very lightweight. You don’t feel it drying on the lips which I like. But it didn’t add any moisture so I needed something over it. Unfortunately it only lasted on my lips a couple hours. Like a regular lipstick.

The color I got was desert rose. It went on a browned reddish color which I loved but it quickly turned into a true rose shade.

The photos are timed with how the color changes in a few minutes.

The product also says cheek tint. It’s really hard to blend on my face. I had to really tug to get it spread. But once I did, the color was a beautiful flush on my cheeks. And on my cheeks it lasted all day.

There was no scent with this product as well. Overall, it was ok. The idea is fun and playful. If it lasted on the lips, I would repurchase.
