Cargo Vintage Escape Eye Palette Review

This is my fourth Cargo Cosmetics eye shadow palette. After i found my first one at TJ Maxx, I fell in love and immediately bought six other palettes by Cargo. I have my eye on a few more but decided to check out the quality of the ones I have. Some of them have been duds.

I picked this one up on EBay for $15 with shipping and handling. The cover is a plain faux leather taupe soft brown shade. Very boring. The best part was the little wrapper around the cheap plastic box. A cute travel inspired girl with luggage. Love it!

But inside is where this palette really shines. It’s a beautiful autumnal palette with lots of nuetrals. The quality in this one is fantastic. Every thing is richly pigmented and applies smoothly with little fallout.

You get 12 shadows that include:

Harvest Moon matte eggshell

Cuddle shimmery soft peach

Frolic shimmery soft taupe

Cinnamon shimmery bronze

Twigs shimmery graphite

Black Crow matte black

Crisp shimmery soft pale gold

HotCocoa matte cocoa

Autumn matte rust soft brown

Withered Leaves shimmery golden moss

Rustic shimmery chocolate medium brown with copper undertones

Chestnut matte chocolate

Also includes a double ended shadow brush. The quality is usable.

The colors are from left to right on my arm in two types of lighting.

Overall, this palette is gorgeous. The quality is amazing and the colors work well together to create a variety of looks. If you find one, grab it!
