When I’m working I tend to stay in average hotels somewhere near city center. Nothing fabulous but always functional.
If you are looking for a clean decent hotel near Eiffel Tower, Novotel was average and clean.
Located at 61 Quai de Grenelle, this hotel chain is less than a mile from the Eiffel Tower. A little less than half a mile from the Bir Hikeim metro stop on line 6. Fabulous view of the Eiffel tower. You have a bit of a trek, but smooth sidewalk if you are dragging luggage.
The rooms were decently sized. Clean. Nothing overly special. You can see some wear and tear signs. A lot of Paris hotels are super tiny, but this was more like an American hotel.
The toilet is in a separate stall. And the bathroom has a pretty good size. No counter space for toiletries but almost a full size tub. Good water pressure in shower as well.
Near a supermarket, Monoprix, but a little bit of a hike from the Metro. Roughly a half mile to the Eiffel Tower. It’s got a mall nearby but no cute Parisian cafes. If you want a generic hotel near the Eiffel Tower, then this might be a good option.
