I picked up the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration in vanilla citron after hearing all the rave reviews. I always have dry skin unless I moisturize so I was hoping to love this.
This is an all over moisturizer infused with vanilla and orange essential oils. Formulated with colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, ceramide 3, and an antioxidant booster designed to immediate relief for dry skin. Six ounces retails for a whopping $30.
First off scent. Vanilla citron. Vague hint of vanilla but I mostly smell citronella. You know, the candles to ward off mosquitoes. Don’t find it very nice at all.
Second, the cream. Very thick. You can hold the jar upside down and the whipped formula stays put. Very thick but not greasy. Great moisturizer.
Finally what were my results? Breakouts. All over my body in places I’ve never broken out before. I get clogged pores from this. I can really only use as a hand and foot cream. I did feel like it was moisturizing but it just doesn’t work for me.
